Renae Hill lives in the Boise, Idaho area with her husband. They have raised thier six children in Idaho, Washington, Georgia and Alberta, Canada and now have six grandchildren. Art has always been a big part of Renae's life. She remembers drawing with her Dad at a young age and thinking everyones father was an artist. It was what was normal. I am an artist that likes to draw and paint anything I can tell a story about. I'm not limited to any one subject. Using vibrant color and light in my work is what sets me apart. I have traveled to many places through out the world and have used these beautiful places as inspiration in my paintings. She studied graghic art and design at Ricks college (BYUI) Artist workshops with Carl Purcell, Greg Olsen and many others. Having had an art business "Renae Hill Fine Art" for over twenty years, she has displayed her work in various galleries and art shows in Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Calgary, Alberta Canada. Renae has taught various art classes and workshops to children and adults. Her students get a one on one art course in a group setting in basic drawing and begining to advanced watercolor.
